use FC 5 -- if you need a installation Howto? If I recall, Jarod's
Howto does recommend using the most updated version(s) as a general
rule, but (I certainly don't want to speak for Jason) that somewhat
implies that a relatively current Howto be available as well.

</div><br>Not bad at all. There was one thing I needed to which was slightly out of order (I believe I updated the kernel, and then updated everything else) which you can find on this list. Other than that, my only lingering issue is with the alsa driver. I think I've now upgraded to the latest bleeding-edge version of that and will test if sound is working tonight.
