<div>Do you have a firewall configured on the other computer that prevents it from responding to PING requests? I think the Windows XP SP2 firewall and Zone Alarm both have options to do this.</div>

<div>I'm trying to get samba working. I can't ping my other LAN computers fr0m my KnoppMyth box. After the ping command the cursor just drops a line, no error messages. I can ping this box from the rest of the LAN. So I can respond to pings but not initiate them. Also internet does work on this box.
