<div>I had a problem installing FC4 on my AMD64 - I googled it and found that you need to type a few characters of gibberish at the install prompt, then press enter. Then you can go ahead with the install and you won't get the kernel panic anymore. I can't remember what the exact problem was but that did fix it.

Oddly, FD 3 runs like a champ on the MSI machine. (FD 4 will not work either as an upgrade or orginal install).
