motherboard with a SiS 7012 on board sound chip which is driving me
bonkers. The Alsa support for this chip is provided by the intel8x0
module. My TV capture card is an ancient Hauppauge WINTV PCI (BT848), I
have the line out on the WINTV PCI connected to the line in of the on board

kmix I have the line in input muted, with capture enabled on the line
in input as well as the capture input (does that make

I fire up mythfrontend and go to Watch TV I only get sound from the right
channel. If I switch out to kmix and unmute the line in input I can hear the
left channel (naturally it isn't in sync).</SPAN></SPAN></DIV>

did notice that a few others have had similar problems with no resolution,
but I thought I would throw my hat into the ring to see if I could get a

provide (modeprobe.conf, .asoundrc, though my .asoundrc is the basic one

output at any rates other than 48kHz, but I am not sure how or even if this is
