If you're using an nvidia card then you could try running the<br>
nvidia-settings programme. It might have a Y-Offset settings in

I didn't think you could mess with modelines when you are outputting
via S-Vid or Composite. I tried it a while back to get a full picture
on my TV and I didn't get any results. Is this different in newer
nvidia drivers?
