I have started working on my Mythtv frontend and am still not sure how to connect it to my TV which is 42' Toshiba CRT projection HDTV.<br><br>Since the TV only has component input (YPbPr), my understanding is that I have two choices:
<br><br>a) Buy Audio Authority VGA to Component converter and hook it to my VGA card. I was even thinking about getting a Unichrome Pro mobo, so I can use hardware mpeg2 decoding and hook that up to AA Converter.<br><br>b) Buy something like Nvidia 6600GT with component dongle and hope that it works. I see some folks have this setup.
<br><br>Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
