Nevermind, I figured out my problem. I had to make the file executable. I did so with the following command:<br>

# chmod u+x ati-driver-installer-8.20.8-i386.run<br>
<br>
After that I was able to launch the application.<br>

What exactly do you mean "make the install"? I'm still fairly new and learning my way around linux.<br>
