I have an external receiver for my digital cable connection. This
receiver has a Composite Video out, which I have connected to the
Composite Video in of my Hauppage Win TV PVR USB2.<br>

In mytthtv-setup, I set up a dummy video source called STB and
connected it to my Video0 -> Composite input of my capture
card. I created a fake channel 3 with a null freqid and set that
as the default channel for this input connection.<br>
<br>
When I go to live TV, I can see the video from whatever channel my STB
is tuned to. However, when I try to record it, it creates an
empty recording. I notice the following error in backend logs:<br>

2005-12-19 11:22:53.125 Channel(/dev/video0)::TuneTo(): Error, failed to find channel.<br>

NOTE: I am using SVN.<br>

How do I get Myth not to try to tune to the frequency but simply record
off the stream coming from S-Video input? I'd appreciate any
pointers on how to set up the card input and connections to make this
work. <br>
