I recently changed to dvb-card and now I have problem finding the mpeg 4 compliant mplayer.dll for xbmc
any idea where to find it ?

On 11/30/05, Phill Edwards <philledwards@gmail.com> wrote:

> ) if you're transcoding your recordings or not using
> an mpeg2 capture card. DVB and ivtv files are not
> really .nuv so they play fine, transcoded files are
> real .nuvs and will not play in a stock xbmc build
> until the nupplevideo patch makes it in.

IIRC I've read that that patch will never make it into the official
release. Something about them thinking that the MyhtTV format is not a
valid format or something. Anyway, the upshot is that you'll always
need to apply this patched version manually after avery XBMC upgrade.
_______________________________________________
mythtv-users mailing list
mythtv-users@mythtv.org
