A screen filled with snow is perfect! Much better than getting nothing. It means that<br>
you are getting some input, just not what you want. Try running ivtvctl to select the input.<br>

ivtvctl -n<br>
<br>
will list the available input types<br>
<br>
and ivtvctl -p [input #]<br>
<br>
will set the input.<br>
<br>
If you can't get the tuner to work, try using a composite or svideo input (just to test).<br>
