in gentoo, try running update-modules<br>

It looks like ivtv is installed, but it can't find all of the modules
it needs. Try re-emerging ivtv and running update-modules to get them
where they belong. You should be able to type "modprobe tuner" and have
it load the tuner, same with the rest of the modules listed, and
consequently, ivtv should be able to load them at will.<br>
