I went ahead and tried &quot;irrecord&quot; using an ATI Remote Wonder configured
to use unit code ID 4.&nbsp; The resulting lircd.conf file was
identical to the file generated previously using an ATI RW with the
default configuration.&nbsp; The fact that the files turned out to be
exactly the same was a complete surprise.<br>

So now, I don't know an easy way to generate an lircd.conf that will
respond to a uniquely configured ATI RW.&nbsp; A hard way would be to
press each key, note which code is being generated by looking in
/var/log/messages, and hand-coding the lircd.conf file from that.<br>

Other than this &quot;hard way&quot;, I am temporarily out of ideas as to how to
get the system to respond when this line is added to /etc/modules.conf:<br>
<br>
options lirc_atiusb unique=1 debug=1 mask=0x0004<br>
<br>
But there are a lot more combinations to put through the trial-and-error process,<br>
so I'll keep trying.<br>
