Those instructions are old, and probably wrong. It doesn't mention anything about the mceusb2 driver, for example.<br>
I don't understand why all the machinations in the kernel source tree
are necessary, either. Maybe that's a KnoppMyth thing, but I'd be
surprised.<br>
