Alright, so I tested this by comparing the OSD display of the "time within the recording" vs a stopwatch in hand.<br>

After 2 mins of real-time, the recording was lagging behind by 11-12 seconds (ie 1:48)<br>
<br>
6 minutes - behind by 23 seconds<br>
8 minutes - behind by 30 seconds<br>
10 minutes - behind by 38 seconds<br>
15 minutes - behind by 42 seconds.<br>

Any ideas what do to next?<br>
