I had plunged the TV to my ThinkPad T42p running Fedora Core 3 and

booted the system. <br>

Attached are the xorg.conf used at that time and the log.<br>

As for your questions:<br>

* What are you using for TV-OUT? Svideo? Composite?</b> The TV has a VGA/XGA inout, I am using the VGA output, like a regular monitor. Does that answer the question?

Another thing I can mentioned and might help is that while booting the TV has a sign that changes through time - as follows:

When I switch to the TV mode and the PC is down or not connected it says "PC" (probably equivalent to "No Input" in regular PC monitors. when I reboot, and before the OS is taking over it says "VGA", when the OS is taking over it says "XGA" and the X takes over it returns to "PC".
