So right now, im currently using MCE and was curious as to the capabilities of mythtv..<br>

The way the qwest choice cable works is.. Theres one set top box.. then
for every other tv theres a little rf adapter that plugs into the wall
outlet and the coax cable.. like a man in the middle.. i was wondering
if anyone knew how to bypass the qwest remote and channel changing
system because at the moment in order to watch tv on my comp i have to
set the comp to channel 6 and then change the channel with quests
remote. This however is not condusive to the nature of an htpc.. I
cannot use the mce guide, cannot set things to record automatically,
and changing the channel takes about 4 seconds as the qwest rf module
is not the swiftest thing.<br>

So basically, what im asking is theres a way around that with MythTV
and if so how would i go about doing it because i have not been able to
do it with MCE.. Nor is there a good place for information on MCE..<br>
