I have used fc#, knoppmyth, slackware, and a couple others.  I
have finally settled on Ubuntu.&nbsp; <a href="http://www.ubuntulinux.org">http://www.ubuntulinux.org</a> This
distro is really solid and installing myth wasn't too difficult.&nbsp;
I loosely followed the instructions at
<a href="http://www.mythtv.info/moin.cgi/UbuntuInstallation">http://www.mythtv.info/moin.cgi/UbuntuInstallation</a> and If you really
the the distro they will send you pressed cd's for free (no joke, I got
ten in the mail alittle bit ago.&nbsp; Didn't cost a cent.)<br>
Just remember, myth is rather difficult to work with because of the
nature of the hardware, if it wasn't there wouldn't be so much activity
on the list.<br>
It's worth the effort though.<br>
