Since you apparently have network cable in the bedroom, I'm surprised
nobody mentioned using the MediaMVP. It is <$100. <br>

That being said, I don't have any direct experience with it (although
I've been assuming I would go this route at some point to address the
exact same issue). Is there some reason a MediaMVP won't
work? My understanding is that there is an open source
replacement for the onboard software that understand MythTV
(<a href="http://mvpmc.sourceforge.net/idx.php?pg=screenshots">http://mvpmc.sourceforge.net/idx.php?pg=screenshots</a>).<br>
