I think one of the Compaq high-end machines uses a Silverstone case.

It shouldn't be surprising that readymade PCs generally have the cheapest available motherboard, case, PSU etc.

I actually briefly capitulated and bought a Compaq Presario Desktop. It
was decent value, but the machine is not real fast. The BIOS is not
configurable, the memory runs with way too many waits (slow), the
motherboard graphics (VIA Unichrome) are very slow (esp. compared with
the Intel Extreme Mobo graphics) and suck at running the X screensaver
GL stuff.

I think I'm back to putting my own stuff together again.
Thanx all, but I am surprised there are no readymade PCs with these kinds of
cases?

Thanx,
Anil Gupte

----- Original Message -----
From: "aaron" <memoryguy@gmail.com
