Maybe your sound card is playing the audio from your tuner directly and
not from MythTV. Because myth will buffer some video to do the
timeshifting, the output from your tuner card directly will lag from
what you see on the screen. You need to be outputting the sound from
myth that goes to your sound card. This is usually done by having myth
capture from the input on your sound card which has the tuner output
plugged into it and the sound card output is what you have your
speakers, etc hooked up to
