Hey,

I have a Pundit-R as well and is running
MythTV under Fedora Core 2 using the ATI closed source drivers (3.12.0
with the hexedit patch). I have no issues with the CPU being swamped during
DivX/AVI playback. The only issue I currently have is a little jagging
during live TV playback. I'm more than willing to share and cooperate on
some configuration files since it has been quite a pain to set-up.

I think I have narrowed my issue down
to the sound driver since there is no problems if I run without any sound.
