<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I'm pretty new to MythTV and like it pretty much.
But it is still possible to improve.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Here i have som suggestions on what i would like to
see in MythVideo.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Maybe someone think that it is good things and
we'll see it in the future. I'm no</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>linux programmer, i would have made it myself
if i was.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>1. Have the possibility to see new videofiles in
the video directory without going to the Video Manager first.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>(Maybe this is already possible?)</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>2. Be able to edit the info of a videofile directly
from the video directory. Would save time and be much easier if it was
possible.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Especially if you could see new files in the
directory, would be fast and easy to give it a category or other info.
Instead</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>of having to go to the videomanager.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>3. Have som special behaviour of the folders in the
video directory. Not all folders of course, you should be able to
select</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>if it should behave like a ordinary folder, or
special.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>And the special features of the folder would
be:</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>3.1 A folder should be able to act as a
playlist for the files it contains. This way if you have a video of 2 or
more files</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>you could "play" the folder, and it would start to
play the first file. This would mean a much "cleaner" video
directory</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>with only one folder for a video instead of 2,3,4
files. And would be very good for series as well.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>3.2 You should be able to set a picture on the
folder for the video or series, and set info for the folder. So if you
"open"</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>the folder you would see the same videoinfo screen
that you see when you select a videofile. And if you change a
setting</FONT></DIV>
<DIV>like Category for the folder, all files in the folder will get the same
Category.</DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>3.3 The folder should remember where you stopped
watching, so you begin at the same place the next time. Very good</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>when watching series. Would be even better if it
remembered not only what file that was played last, but even where in the file.
</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>So we could have </FONT><FONT face=Arial size=2>a
bookmark. And begin viewing where we left. (Would like to see this for ordinary
videofiles also)</FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>The Video Manager is a little time consuming and hard to work with. These
changes could really make life easier.</DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I think this would be pretty useful and hope
someone has the knowledge to make it happend. Feel free to add more
suggestions</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>or discuss this with
me.</FONT></DIV></FONT></DIV></BODY></HTML>
