<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I have jumped into Linux at the deep-end by trying
to build a MythTV box. I chose a DVICO Fusion digital HDTV card because of its
good reviews in Australia and because of the availability of Chris Pascoe's
Linux driver.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I'm running a 3GHz P4 in a GigaByte 8KNXP mobo with
512MBytes RAM, an NVidia GForce2 with TVOut and 2 x 80GB 7200rpm
HDDs.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I followed Jarod Wilson's guide, except that I
prefer the Gnome GUI, and have since upgraded to Linux 2.6.9 from kernel.org. I
can get a clean compile and install of the new kernel, and I have successfully
installed MythTV, but I am unable to build Chris Pascoe's drivers and as a
result MythtTV can't find my tuner. Unfortunately I don't fully understand his
instructions so I might be doing something wrong. I can get the CX88
stuff to make, but not the DVB-kernel stuff. It's failing with an unknown
reference to an identifier 'ethernet' as follows:</FONT></DIV>
