I know this could also be a lirc mailing list question, but somebody out
there in mythtv-land must have an Echostar PVR model (DP508) that they are
successfully controlling from mythtv using lirc.<br /><br />If anyone has
a config or even some suggestions, that would be extremely helpful.<br
/><br />The actual problem: I can't get irrecord to successfully pick up
the gap and other stuff from the remote it keeps bombing out during the
first phase of discovery (although it is interesting that raw dumps from
mode2 and xmode2, are seeing the ir pulses).<br /><br />I think the only
hardware that counts for this discussion, is my transmitter/receiver
hardware, which is standard lirc fare, built from radio shack parts.  And
it works just fine with everything else I throw at it.<br /><br /><br />--
