Ok, I was able to find the answer on a couple of German online forums. 

tv_grab_de is apparently broken right now and xmltv builds

tv_grab_de_tvtoday which uses the tvtoday.de website to populate its

program database.  The way to deal with the discrepancy is to make

symlink from tv_grab_de to tv_grab_de_tvtoday.<br>
