problem getting a consistant "excellant" rip of any dvd in my<BR>backend
machine. I've tried probably 25 times on 5 different movies, and<BR>succeeded on
two of them.<BR><BR> I can play them all perfectly. I can do a "perfect"
rip, and play that no<BR>problem. However, when I try to do an excellant rip, it
will get most of the<BR>way through the rip, but when it comes to the actual
compression /<BR>transcode, it ends prematurely, thinking it completed

can handle the derip vob copy, if I could just<BR>figure out the command line to

to be 95% XVID with AC3 intact. I'd be<BR>happy to use either mencoder or
