Yes, I did that a while ago with the renaming, etc. Even tried it with
a symbolic link, nothing worked.<br>

Since my mythfilldatabase "just worked", I really don't have any good
advice for you. Something you might try is renaming tv_grab_na to
tv_grab_na.ORIGINAL and linking to tv_grab_na_dd and then run
mythfilldatabase and see what happens.<br>

# mv /usr/bin/tv_grab_na /usr/bin/tv_grab_na.ORIGINAL<br>
# ln -s /usr/bin/tv_grab_na_dd /usr/bin/tv_grab_na<br>

Also, something I did earlier in the week (before I learned that XMLTV
and Zap2It are broke) was update XMLTV, which I thought would fix the
no listings issue. This update also updated my perl version from 5.8.1
to 5.8.3, tv_grab_na and tv_grab_na_dd are both perl scripts.<br>

Could you please explain your method for getting mythfilldatabase to
work. I've done exactly what you have done and I keep getting the
message, command not found "tv_grab_na" and I have setup an account
with Zap2it and tried with mythfilldatabase --file <myfile.xml>

Since my kernel and ivtv drivers are very stable (by my standards, I
reboot once a month for good measure), here are the steps I took to
upgrade.<br>

Note: I build my system following Jarod's Guide back in Feb, and I'm
using ATrpms for my rpm repo.<br>
<br>
1. Stop the frontend and the backend.<br>
2. apt-get update<br>
3. apt-get install wget<br>
4. apt-get install mythtv-suite<br>
5. mythtvsetup, answered "no" to both questions, and after I setup a
DataDirect account<br>
6. mythfilldatabase, grabbed 12 days worth of programs for ~75 channels
in about 2 minutes.<br>
7. start the backend<br>
8. start the frontend<br>
9. verify all went well, and it went better than expected!<br>

I opted to try to upgrade without upgrading my kernel and ivtv drivers,
because last time (back in Feb.) when I attempted to upgrade the whole
system, I broke everything. So I started from scratch, and glad I did.<br>

I hope yours goes as well as my (the whole process took me 15 minutes

Thanks for putting these up! Now I can attempt to upgrade from 0.14 to
0.15. Does anyone have an idea which would be "easier":
- Should I just put in a new drive in the system, and do a clean install
(allowing me to back out to 0.14 if need be)
or
- Should I just run and apt-get dist-upgrade and let the magic happen?
