card might well be the one to go for; it's cheaper than the DigiTV and
it appears that people have had some success with the remote control in
LIRC as well.<br>

Regarding the TV-Out. I have an old Radeon 8500 that I was going to use
to drive the TV, but it appears that people have been having problems
getting X to run on a TV with these cards. <br>
<br>
What do people do in this respect? Are they favoured gfx cards that
people use to drive their TV's? <br>

AFAIK LIRC doesn't have any support or patches for the Nebula card. I looked
around a lot but couldn't find anything. Without input from Nebula it'll be
difficult to make it work.
In hindsight I would probably go for one of the Avermedia cards from

not certain that using TV-Out on the Radeon is going to be all that easy...?
