<DIV>That crash sounds like the -nortti problem. I had to edit the conf file
in the qt sources to make this take effect when building qt-embeded. The
./configure flags dont affect the use of this when building qt. Check that
when you build qt itself the -nortti flag is not being used.</DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>After spending abit over 3 weeks trying to get
mythtv to work with directfb/QT-embedded i've come to conclusion that
support doesnt work for the Matrox g550.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Like i've stated in the previous posts, mplayer
has no issues playing ot the tv with the -dfbmga switch,</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>And when running mythfrontend -qws the frontend
loads up on the tv, but clicking on 'Watch TV' causing an
instant crash with no errors, which also locks up my keyboard even magic
sysres dont work.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Mythfrontend just says changing from
WatchLiveTV to none, and it exits.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I've tryed to debug it following the steps
posted about using GDB and setting myth to debug mode, but when i call 'run
-qws' in gdb to get it to run over directfb,</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>GDB claims it can't find 'matroxfb' drivers, So
im guessing you cant debug mythtv over directfb with gdb.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I know matroxfb drivers are loaded it shows up
fine in /proc/bus/pci/devices/</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Dfbinfo shows all the correct settings for my
matrox g550,</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>also fbset -v shows the right device
etc.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>
<DIV><BR>I've been emailing directfb developers and they are saying my
directfb is fine and it must be a mythtv/qt-embedded problem.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>And yes I have removed the -fno-rtti switch from the
/usr/local/qt-embedded/mkspecs/default/qmake.conf</DIV>
<DIV>and rebuilt it with the following switch.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=3>./configure -qt-gif -no-exceptions -disable-opengl

<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>builds fine.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Besides that im all out of ideas, </DIV>
<DIV>This is the 2.6.5 kernel with fusion patch,</DIV>
<DIV>Latest DirectFB CVS</DIV>
<DIV>Latest Mythtv CVS</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I've attached a script log of what i do when running mythtv over
qt-embedded
