I bought an IR receiver from manoweb.com a few days ago, so I'm trying to get lirc and myth working, but am running into some trouble and I'm not real sure where to turn. I believe I have lirc working correctly because I can see that it is receiving codes from my remote. I installed lirc from source, and ran irrecord to set up my remote. I followed the documentation and also recompiled myth after enabling native lirc support in settings.pro.<BR>
<BR>
If I run irw I can see my buttons being received by lirc, but Myth does nothing. I am also receiving one error when I run modprobe lirc_serial. Here it is:<BR>

I'm not sure what this stuff about dev_fs is. I have /dev/lirc, /dev/lircd, and /dev/lircmd and that's all. I set the following in /etc/sysconf/lircd:<BR>

HWMOD=lirc_serial<BR>
# with devfs enabled -> not sure what this is<BR>
#DEVICE=/dev/lirc/0<BR>
# without devfs -> not sure what this is<BR>

I have no prior experience with lirc, so I'm not sure what to look at or how to get rid of the problems above. I can't tell because of these errors if the problem is with lirc or with Myth not using lirc for some reason.<BR>
