I've got my MythTV system up and running!
Woo-hoo!

As a Linux and MythTV newbie, I can't thank everyone enough
for their help
(though this being my first e-mail to the list, you
probably didn't know you
were helping me!). I used Jarod's guide and the
"Search All Posts" feature
of the archives often, but always found the
answers I needed.

The end result is, of course, worth all the work.
I'm currently using a
ReplayTV 3030, which works fine, but doesn't have
near the feature-set or
flexibility of Myth. In the coming weeks I hope
to experiment with the
TV-out of my video card and bring this system into
full-time use.

FYI, I'm running an Athlon XP 1500+, 512MB RAM, 100GB
WD HD, and a GeForce 2
MX 440 (I think). Running on that is FC1 and Myth
0.14. Video capture is one
of the new-boxed Hauppauge PVR-250
cards.

Aside from some ghosting of the video--which I expect I
can
rectify--everything works great!

Dan

<A
