be a network card driver/hardware issue. I have this before where a highly
active connection to a NIC can cause the system to freeze up.

size=2>I have a redhat9.1 box running mythtv with a pvr-250. I have
discovered that it locks up during file transfers when Mythtv is running.
If I ftp files fromthe myth box to a windows pc it locks up the myth box
unless I shut Mythtv down before ftp'ing. This also happens when using
samba to transfer files and during the
mythfilldatabase.</FONT></DEFANGED_SPAN></P><DEFANGED_DIV>
