I would like to extend a huge THANKS
to the MythTV team for an awesome awesome product and to Jarod for making
the install process so easy (especially for a Linux newbie like me). I
have MythTV operating flawlessly now with one minor exception:

I have tried to edit my Keybindings
via the Web interface. I have tried entering values for both JumpPoints
Editor and Keybindings Editor and click Save at the bottom of the screen.
I am returned with the Keybindings interface but with no keybindings
specified. This left me puzzled. Nonetheless, I stopped and
restarted by (one and only) frontend but the keybinding I specified does
not work (I tried on remote as well as on the attached keyboard so I've
ruled out lirc). Am I doing something wrong?

In my case, I've tried several different
types of entries (Alt/Ctrl + M, M alone, m (lowercase) alone, F1 alone,
etc) in the keybindings to ensure I have the format right. I would
assume the simplest attempt of M as a JumpPoint to the Live TV would work
but when I bring up the Keybindings editor again, my changes/edits are
gone and replaced with the defaults.
