<DIV>When I compiled the ivtv drivers, tuner wasn't getting built. After checking the docs it said bttv (bt848) had to be compiled as a mod in the kernel for tuner to be built. Did that and tuner.o was compiled.</DIV>

<DIV>I'm not sure if bttv is supposed to be loading or not. It's not in my /etc/modules.conf, if I modprobe - it fails with a "no such device" yet the driver exists in .../drivers/mdiea/video</DIV>
<DIV>Checking dmesg / syslog - i get 4 sets of 2 lines :</DIV>
