DECODES divx? Or is is CPU decoding and hardware scaling? </FONT></FONT></DIV>
<P>In windows, of course, the Xcard has to send Divx..etc.. to a transcoder
engine that transcodes the divx to mpeg2. This, of course, takes a big
chunk out of your processor, so you couldn't do this with a 1ghz type
machine. Also the DVD playback is send through their provided DVD
software, before it is sent out of the card, but that is probably just to strip
the CESS info off of the stream.</P>
