<DIV>Hi all, I am trying to setup ivtv-fb to take advantage of my PVR 350's TV Out, and am not having any success</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I download the newest drivers from <A href="http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/axboe/ivtv/">http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/axboe/ivtv/</A> <BR></DIV>
<DIV>(dated Nov 18th). </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>When I run make install I get a bunch of warnings, and when I depmod -a I get unresolved symbols.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>[root@mythtv mythtv]# /sbin/depmod -ae<BR>depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.4.20-20_29.rh9.at/kernel/drivers/media/video/ivtv-fb.o<BR>depmod: __free_pages_Rb550f408<BR>depmod: register_framebuffer_Rbdb348af<BR>depmod: __down_read_Rbebf4a44<BR>depmod: __up_read_R98a5b601<BR>depmod: fbcon_redraw_bmove_Ra08c7976<BR>depmod: fbcon_cfb32_R871b3f72<BR>depmod: unregister_framebuffer_R74f5858a<BR>depmod: add_wait_queue_R2871dca9<BR>depmod: get_user_pages_R293de9f1<BR>depmod:

<DIV>I have checked and am pretty sure that my kernal has support for: </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Support for frame buffer devices (EXPERIMENTAL) <BR>VESA VGA graphics console <BR>Advanced low level driver options <BR>24 bpp packed pixels support <BR>32 bpp packed pixels support <BR>VGA characters/attributes support </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>or at least each time I look at menuconfig, they all have * next to them.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>what else could be causing the unresolved symbols?</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I am running RH 9.0 (2.4.20-20_29.rh9.at kernel) and the rest of my myth install has been done from apt-get and Jarod's howto. </DIV>
<DIV>Before trying to install the other ivtv drive, I did apt-get remove ivtv.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Thanks in advance.</DIV><p><hr SIZE=1>
