I have been seeing this problem for the past couple of days, just haven't had time to debug.<BR>
I have 3 machines<BR>
1 main backend, 2 tv cards<BR>
1 slave backend running a frontend too, 1 tv card<BR>
2 slave frontends<BR>
<BR>
On the slave frontends i can play any recorded file no prob.<BR>
One the slave backend, most of the time when I try to play back files that are on the master backend it hangs.<BR>
When I can play files on the slave backend it works fine and shows no problems, but once it starts acting up it won't stop for awhile.<BR>
I noticed that mythbackend on the slave backend doesn't need to be restarted to get the frontend to respond again, only the master server.<BR>
I will run some debug stuff tonight.<BR>

I did the checkout on both machines within minutes of each other,
but I do a file compare.
