Tried following the instructions, no joy...
However I downloaded the v35 master from the repo, and installed it:
%asroot dpkg --force-all -i
./mythweb_2%3a35.0~master.202501182319.59594115da~ubuntu22.04.1_all.deb
Executing "dpkg --force-all -i
./mythweb_2%3a35.0~master.202501182319.59594115da~ubuntu22.04.1_all.deb
" as root.
Selecting previously unselected package mythweb.
dpkg: regarding
.../mythweb_2%3a35.0~master.202501182319.59594115da~ubuntu22.04.1_all.d
eb containing mythweb:
mythtv-backend conflicts with mythweb
mythweb (version 2:35.0~master.202501182319.59594115da~ubuntu22.04.1)
is to be installed.
dpkg: warning: ignoring conflict, may proceed anyway!
(Reading database ... 678628 files and directories currently
installed.)
Preparing to unpack
.../mythweb_2%3a35.0~master.202501182319.59594115da~ubuntu22.04.1_all.d
eb ...
Unpacking mythweb (2:35.0~master.202501182319.59594115da~ubuntu22.04.1)
...
Setting up mythweb
(2:35.0~master.202501182319.59594115da~ubuntu22.04.1) ...
It works just fine, however I have the same problem. Apparently the
backend wants a "+fixes" version and just wants to keep removing either
mythweb or the backend.
Tried a cp -pr from the installed /usr/share/mythtv/mythweb to
/usr/local/share/mythtv/mythweb... Made sure the apache2 conf was
correct and pointing to /usr/local/share not /usr/share....remove the
mythweb package...no joy, it still fails
Mybe I just need to hammer the DB for what's installed so it doesn't
think myweb is installed even tho it is ?

Should work right ? No joy
