mythbuntu is the hostname which hasn't been changed for a long time, but the

On my system Mythfrontend seems to be started by an entry in Startup
Applications, Startup Application Preferences. In there is an entry MythTV
Frontend which has a command mythfrontend --service. I've changed that command
to mythdelayed.sh which has:-
sleep 15
mythfrontend --service
This has improved things but it's not 100%

I think you've mentioned the wrong package, that one is something to do with
"manipulating general convex polyhedra". :-)
