[mythtv-users] Why do MythTV recordings have no sound when played outside MythTV?

Try 'mpv Media Player'.  Just re-tested on an approximately 50-second  
*.ts file I had extracted from an hour-long show.  Same a/v specs as the 
original: 1280x720 and 48 KHz audio sampling.

Stupid suggestion  but easy enough to overlook: turn up the volume.  On 
my amp I usually listen at around "12" but I had to crank it up to about 
25.
