Of course. Here is a snippet of my nightly grabber script:

time nice tv_grab_zz_sdjson_sqlite --config-file
tv_grab_zz_sdjson_sqlite.conf --output tv_grab_zz_sdjson_sqlist.out
time nice /usr/bin/mythfilldatabase --file --sourceid 2 --xmlfile
tv_grab_zz_sdjson_sqlist.out --only-update-guide --no-resched

# some database cleanup

time nice /usr/bin/mythutil --resched
