[mythtv-users] Two HDHomeRuns connected to different antennas, how does mythtv choose?

I live very close to the border of two US Broadcast regions. I'm in Connecticut about 1.5
miles / 2 km from the border between the New York City broadcast region and the Hartford, CT
broadcast region. This means that I can choose over-the-air programming from either region
just by pointing my TV antenna. I have two HDHomerun Flex 4k devices. One is connected to an
antenna that receives the New York stations, The other is setup to receive the Hartford CT
stations. I want to include both HDHomeruns in my MythTV setup but I'm very concerned that
when choosing to record a broadcast, MythTV could choose the wrong HDHomeRun. This is
because when I have to choose a video source, Schedules Direct only lists one source by my
zipcode.

Can someone enlightent me about how MythTV makes the decision on capture card if I leave it
to its own devices?

To try and make things clearer, I actually receive stations in one of three ways:

* If a station broadcasts from the freedom tower in NYC, I receive it on the Flex 4k
  connected to the NYC antenna. I generally won't receive that station on the Hartford Flex
  at all.
  
* Likewise for stations broadcasting from Rattlesnake Mountain near Hartford. I'll get those
  just fine on the Hartford Flex 4k and they won't come in on the NYC HDHomeRun.
  
* Just to make things more fun, there's a third situation where the broadcast tower for a
  station is close enough to me for me to get it on both HDHomeRuns. In this case the signal
  usually comes in much stronger on one device then the other so I actually still have a
  preference for which tuner to use. 
  
That's the problem that I'm trying to solve. I've just asked my MythTV to record "Late Night
with Seth Myers...". In my system Encoder 1 is the HDHomeRun with the NYC antenna, Encoder 2
is the HDHomeRun with the Hartford antenna. My MythTV has schedule the recording  of "Late
Night" on Encoder 1.
