It is possible for packagers (in various distros) to not build
with the needed systemd development libraries, so they
should not specify Type=notify in their distributed packages
(since MythTV would not use the systemd functions).

You probably should open individual issues with each
distro that does not build with systemd (and use Type=notify)
that you think should do so.  Some packagers may
agree, and others may disagree, with your request.
