I propose to run this sequence to first do a dist-upgrade, then install the
ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo reboot
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mythbuntu/34
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get *dist-upgrade*
Once, everything is updated you can do a
sudo add-apt-repository --remove ppa:mythbuntu/32
