Yet again opinions would be valued.

My saga ends with me having my workstation as a monitor with a vesa mount hosting a FE and a BE.
I have 2 Haupauge twin tuners with usb-2 interface.

I find an ASUS PN51 is commercial quality (a bit rough) ie there is no heatsink for a m2; it runs at 60C
The NUC is commercial quality (somewhat nicer) it has a heatsink for m2; it runs at 40C

Ive got damaged spinning rust [I bought 4 4T WD passport disks over 3 years 2 failed)
if I plug-in the 4T on the i7 NUC sometimes it is detected and mounted, some times not.
if I plug-in to the ryzen it is not detetected dmesg has a lot to say)

No particular opions so far, anybody have any on NUC or ryzan (I’d probably look ar GMK not ASUS.
