[mythtv-users] Caveats in upgrading from Ubuntu 18.04 + MythTV 29.1 to something newer?

Building the version you want, particularly ubuntu host, with ansible, is quick and easy and will let you get the latest fixes.
Personally I would never leave my mythtv to the whims of others, The only caveat is you need a good idea about the ins and outs of mythtv eg mysql setup and mythconverg_backup.pl, mythconverg_restore.pl
