I found it. The bug is introduced in master in
commit 976989051502f54abb7173f9e9127f25f8fd6c13, committed on Sep 29, 202,)
so it predates both our changes by a long time.
I will fix it in master and in fixes/32 after some more testing.
Steve, thanks for reporting. I will send another mail message when the
fixes are committed.
