[mythtv-users] Audio Limited to 2.0 on Fedora 36 with Pupewire

I asked in the forum with no response, so I'll ask here too. After
upgrading to Fedora 36 that uses Pipewire, all the audio selections in the
Myth audio setup are limited to 2 channels, even the explicit 5.1 alsa
selections. The default in pavucontrol and alsamixer are set to 5.1 analog
audio.

I've tried many configuration changes, going back to pulse instead of
pipewire-pulse, with no change.

Any idea what the issue may be?
