Glen, I wish I could get this level of skip performance. The builtin stuff
is 50% at best. I have not been successful with comskip either. At this
point my wife and I have gotten comfortable just having our default manual
skips set to 60 forward and 15 backwards. We get to know our networks and
programs so we know which programs require 4 or 5 clicks to get past a
commercial and maybe 1 or 2 clicks backwards. It's become so automatic, I
don't think about it. On times I use Commercial Skip ON I spend too much
time recovering from incorrect skips.

If there are programs I want to save forever, I use the manual edit of the
automatically marked commercials and correct any mistakes and use a User
Job to strip the commercials and compress to m4v to make the pack better on
my NAS. The User Job is from the MythTV Forum and is called sendTVtoNAS. I
Modified it for my setup and NAS.
