The i915 kernel driver dynamically allocates video memory, apparently it
thinks it has most of the 16GB system memory available to it.

$ glxinfo | egrep -i 'device|memory'
    Device: llvmpipe (LLVM 11.0.1, 256 bits) (0xffffffff)
    Video memory: 15589MB
    Unified memory: no
